Re: sweaty feet

There are several reasons that I come across for this problem in my practice. 1. Wearing shoes that are of all man made material. This stuff does not breathe and the heat builds up in the shoe. There are over 200,000 sweat glands on the foot. 2. Heredity can also be a factor 3. Certain hormonal imbalances can be a cause.

I tell my patients using powders is like closing the barn door after the horse is out. I usually will try the patient on an antiperspirant. The strength varies with how bad the problem is.
