Re: fat pad atrophy

I just spent about $5,000 in doctors, podiatrists, chiropractors, calcium supplements, hard orthotics, soft orthotics, gel heel pads, sonorex treatments, casting, night splints, etc, and guess what???!!! I was mis-diagnosed. I have fat-pad atrophy. My newest foot doctor said there is little that can be done and the causality for me is repeated cortisone shots in my foot due to plantar fascitis and heel spur syndromes. Today he got a sample in the mail that he gave me and said it might help. It is an airheel. We will see. Does anyone know of any research that is being done to inject fat from another part of the body back into the area in the heel that has lost the fat? Help!
