to relieve the severe pain when walking due to the'
loss of the fat pads on the ball of the foot, so the
metatarsal bones have NO padding. My mother is an
active over-80 person used to walking 2 miles a day
and is in agony when she tries to walk. The local
doctor in her little town do not seem to be much
help. She needs some sort of special inserts to
give padding to those bumpy painful areas on the
ball of the foot. She has tried all the standard
pads in the drug store with little relief. Thanks.
