Re: I go through shoes FAST

I am an experienced marathon runner and am a "hard striker" (meaning I strike the ground with a lot of force---even though I am thin. Orthodics can really help to increase the life of your shoes---and also your ability to be comfortable on your feet. I am a student and am not wealthy---so the thought of paing for custom orthodics seemed expensive. However, it was one my best investements ever.

Also, your shoes will wear better if you loose weight. I notice a difference when I loose even a few pounds.

: An custom orthotic posted correctly may help. This is different than an over the counter pre-fabricated arch support. If you go see a podiatrist, you will get more information about this.
