Re: numbness, tingling in baby toe and along bottom half of right foot

Hi Debbie!
This is the same problem that has been affecting me for the past two days. Did you ever see a podiatrist and if so, what was the diagnosis?
I am kinda freaking out.

: hi i hope you can help me. i am 41 years old, female, and in general good health. yesterday i was walking around barefoot as per usual in my home doing nothing out of the ordinary when very slowly i noticed the onset of a tingling feeling in my baby toe and the 2 toes next to it and also along 1/2 of the bottom of my right foot near the baby toe. this started slowly and then progressed to a numbness to the point where i can't feel my toes or bottom of my foot even when walking. when i touch my toes i feel a wooden feeling. i can feel them being touched but as if only on the very surface, for instance, as if there were callouses touching each other. there is a spongy feel to my foot when i walk and now today it feels as if that tingling feeling is spreading up my leg. What could this be?

: please help ASAP as i have 2 small children to take care of and am finding this to be a hindrance to their care.
