Re: smelly feet

Sweat contains fatty acids that the bacteria on the skin break down. This causes the odor. This can vary due to the type of shoes (Leather uppers are better,Synthetic materials are the worst)type of hosiery, weather etc.

Various strengths of antiperpirants are often used, starting from (but not exclusively) Mitchum Roll-On, Certain-Dri (12% Aluminum Chloride solution) and RX Drysol (20% Aluminum chloride)
Washing the feet daily, wearing socks made with Cool Max (cotton is not so great as everyone thinks and nylon is worse).
