Re: Haglunds Deformity

Iv'e had haglunds deformity for years on both heels, left was the worse. Had the operation two days ago. In surgery two hours. I am real sore today. Have to walk on crutches for 8 weeks. The tendon is cut in half,so the heel bone can be filed down, bumps removed, then the tendon is reattached to the bone somehow,Important this isn't broken loose,Or you may be crippled for life. The Doctor put a sofe cast on, Can't take a bath or shower. Not much fun, Lots of time to watch tv, About all you can do. Kenny
