i began a plyometrics workout this week -- a lot of jumping, etc. i have a good sized callous on the outside of my right big toe. after my workout, i cut just a bit of dead skin off of the callous with a razor blade. the following morning, my toe was really tender as well as the area where i cut the dead skin off. it hurts to walk on it.
what can I do to heal it? it doesn't appear to be infected, although it is a bit red around the callous.
