: : I have very bad shin splints for the last 6 weeks. I have been icing everyday but it does not appear to be working. I ice as soon as we are done working out wether it is running, lifting weights, or playing basketball. I had shin splints in high school and icing helped then but not now. I need to know if there is a good way to treat my shin splints? Is lifting weights with your legs good or bad if you have shin splints?
