I have been diagnosed to having a neuroma between my big toe and the toe next to it. There is also a bump, or raised area on the top of my foot above where my arch is. I have been told once that it was caused by plantar fasciitis and also once that it was bursitus--by different doctors. I am wondering if the neuroma is causing an inflamation on the nerve under the bones of the top of my foot causing them to raise, or if the two symptoms are unrelated. I dont have health insurance right now and cant afford to get it checked out a third time right now. Anyone have any answers for me?
