I recently began playing softball, after 14 years. I wore my son's cleats, which were about 1/2 size too big, for the first 5 or 6 games. The last time I wore them my ankles got fluid around them and has gotten worse, even after I bought a pair of cleats to fit me. I have used iced them almost every day for the last week or so, but they still have the fluid on them. I even had a week off with no games and that didn't help. Could the way I was running have anything to do with it, or the cleats that were too big? I am at a loss.
