For the last ten year or so I have endured some excruciating pain in my big toe. At night, it will wake me out of a dead sleep, with a extreme burning sensation. It helps somewhat to "crack" my toes, but the pain usually returns. The only thing that works is to wake up and take three Ibuprofen capsules, which usually takes care of the pain. I have been to three podiatrist an dthey cannot come up with an answer. One tried a cortisone shot which did absolutely nothing. I also have a spot on my foot between the two balls of the foot which always hurts. If I walk on the beack and I hit a stone, the pain is excruciating. Any suggestions? Carlos
