I have very small, very wide feet with high arches. My feet are about 8.5 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. I measure a 5 on the left foot and 5.5 on the right. My shoes always wear out much more on the outside edges of the sole. On the inside of the shoes, though, the inner side of the heel wears down much more. To the point that, in time, the fabric of the shoe breaks down, creating a hole in the inside of the shoe at about where the ankle bone stibks out on my feet. Every single pair of shoes I have owned has had this wear pattern. What causes this and what can I do to prevent it. I have a terrible time finding shoes to fit! Not easy finding the combination of size 5.5 Wide width shoes with adequate cushioning and arch support. I am on my feet at work 8-10 hours daily,so I need all these features in a shoe.
