Upper foot pain

Has anyone had a pain a kind of burning pain on top of their foot, near the base of the second and third toe. It hurts when I walk and sometimes even when I am just sitting, but less so. I pronate and play tennis.I'm going to see a podiatrist. Could it be Morton's disease? Thanks.
