Five years post-op big toe pain.

I my left foot bunion surgery first, and it took almost 10 weeks for full recovery. I had a hard time wiggling my toes and walking on it. That was in 2001. In 2003 I had my right foot done. I was walking in 4 weeks with that one. Here's my question, my left foot looks overcorrected. The end of my big toe is off the ground. I have severe pain in my big toe in the area of my scar. What could this pain be and what should I do? Thanks.
