Plantar Fasciitis Diagnoses

I was recently diagnosed with PF and initially only prescribed anti-inflammatories and therapy 3X a week. I have not initiated the therapy yet and judging from the entries that I have read on this particular website, am not fully convinced that this is the answer. My pain is presently mostly in my right heel though it may also be in my left it is more intense in the right and seems to burn more than hurt. Can anyone relate to this and give me some feedback as to if this is a classic PF symptom or need I be probing my Dr. for others possibilities. I do have flat feet but my foot dr. told me that wasn't a condition that would cause this---quite the contrary in my research. Advice welcomed!
