Re: moderate swell 2 months after ankle sprain

I have not had the luxury to get any proffesional treatment on the ankle as I am one of the 40 some million without insurance, it would be very costly to see a doctor. The ankle seems to be healing on itself just not as fast as I had anticipated.

I worry about long-term, chronic pain, is there any way that I can work this thing back into good shape without a doctor or proffesional physical therapist?

Do I continue to ice bathe>?

Worn daily for a few minutes to several hours, the night splint, over time has been clinically proven to reduce the pain and discomfort of plantar fasciitis and other overuse injuries of the lower leg.
