Doctors have never been able to come up with a diagnosis until a recent MRI showed what they are calling a "cavernous hemangioma" which I am told nothing can be done about it. Some days I cannot bear any weight due to constant pain and discomfort. Somedays my ankle is my ankle is so bruised, it's usually has a bluish tint to it, and others it's bluish/purple. I have looked up the term "hemangioma" and many sites say hemangioma usually go away by about 9 or 10 years old, which is when my ankle became much worse!! Have you had any experience with a problem similar to mine?? I have been to ortho's, pod's and primary doctors, I have had CT Scans, MRIs, numerous x-rays and I am told there is nothing at all that can be done, that I should just learn to live with the discomfort. I am going broke by having all these tests done, I was just curious to know if you have heard of this or have any past experience. Thank you so much Lynn |
