two weeks ago i tripped and fell on the sidewalk and landed on the side of my ankle. it was very painful and swollen and i followed the RICE method but it doesn't seem to be working. my ankle is still very sore even when i'm sitting and it starts to throb when i get up. i can limp on it a little bit but it still hurts too much to walk very much. it's also still gets pretty swollen. is this normal for a sprained ankle and is there anything else i should do?
