Re: Stitches

Generally speaking I leave stitches in the bootm of the foot up to 3 weeks. I each patient as there are variations in healing. I also keep the patient non weight bearing during this time. Remember just because you get the stitches out does not mean you are entirely healed. That will take several more weeks even months depending on the extent of the injury.
