Re: "Talus Contusion and well corticated boney density"

I have recently broken my Fibula. Only after six weeks and continuous pain was I able to convince my Dr. to allow an MRI. It revealed that the Fibula had healed but I had a contusion to the talus and a "Well corticated boney density along with some remaining partial tears of the ankle ligaments". His response was that he wasn't going to do anything further. It has now been 3 1/2 months. I have no stability in my ankles to speak of and suffer constantly from pain in the joint along with swelling. Should I seek another opinion? Or is this the normal healing procedure for this injury?
