Re: broken foot

I am at a disadvantage in that I can not see your fracture and how well aligned it is. Assuming it is in good enough position to heal with immobilization, then the cast brace is a good idea. Whether or not you use crutches is something you should discus with your doctor who treated you. As far as you being able to go to Paris without the cast brace, I think your doctor will probably want to X-ray you first to see if there is adequate bone callus before allowing you to go without it. You can't rush the healing, but you can slow it down.

The HealWell Night splint is designed to comfortably position the foot in a controlled amount of dorsiflexion to provide a gentle stretch to the plantar fascia and Achilles Tendon. This gentle stretch helps reduce the muscle contracture, inflammation and associated pain. It has also been clinically proven to reduce symptoms of plantar fasciitis.
