You reinjured it. The nail is attached to the nail bed with very small fibers. It isn't that hard to tear them. When that happens, bleeding occurs. The yellow clear fluid or serum is after the blood settles down in the injured area. You need to see a podiatrist for more answers, since I can't see your toe.
