Re: swelling around fully recoverd ankle fracture

As a general rule, I tell my patients that recovery is not immediate after a cast removal. It takes twice as long to rehab as you were immobilized. You really didn't give any information about the type of ankle fracture you had, as well as age, health and other considerations. Certainly you can discuss this with your doctor.
