Re: outer edge foot pain

: I get extreme pain located lengthwise 3/4 from my ankle and 1/4 from my little toe. And in about 1/2-3/4 inches. It seems to be located on the metatarsal bone but radiates inward to middle of foot. The pain gets so severe I have to curl up my toes tight for support and walk like that w/a limp. I thought I was getting fallen arches but now I am not so sure. I am a bartender working a long bar w/no mats or pads on floor. I also need to know of the best shoe for support-something a mailman might recommend. Thanks for your help and for a great service. I can be mailed directly also at drewski@nb.net

I'm sorry--the pain has been present about 18 months-gets worse the longer I am on feet; feels better w/strong support, worse with minimum support

The Shin Splint Compression Wrap applies gentle pressure on soft tissue next to the tibia (shin bone), helping prevent additional tearing of the soft tissue away from the tibia. Compression not only reduces additional damage, it alleviates pain and enhances the healing process.
