Foot Pain

My doctors say I still have pain because I have arthritis in the tendons etc. Not only do I seem to have the same pain in that toe, but the upper joint of that toe hurts and the ball of my foot. I am not told to get shoe inserts. I am very frustrated, unable to wear shoes, etc. in constant pain. I take vioxx but it really doesn't help. Any suggestions? I
