Re: what is biomechanics exam?

A biomechanical exam can certainly vary from doctor to doctor. Basically, measurements are made on and off weight bearing. Gait analysis is also done. Some doctors may have sophisticated scanners etc, others use observation.

The other answer is ...maybe- it depends on what you consider a problem. I would think that exercise would help build up your muscle. Have you discussed this with your doctor or physical therapist?

The Shin Splint Compression Wrap applies gentle pressure on soft tissue next to the tibia (shin bone), helping prevent additional tearing of the soft tissue away from the tibia. Compression not only reduces additional damage, it alleviates pain and enhances the healing process.
