Persistant Foot/Ankle Pain

I twisted my ankle over a year ago and have seen Drs. over this period of time. I have had two surgeries to remove soft tissue, shave the peroneous tendon and to repair carpel tunnel debridement. I still have the bee sting sensation, numbness comes and goes in top of foot and last three toes. I cannot walk or stand for any length of time as pain becomes severe and the foot weakens to the point that it doesnt want to hold my weight. I weigh 140 lbs. The bee sting location is at the front of the ankle, top of foot. The bottom of my foot behind the ankle is very tender and will spasm at my toes if massaged or pressed on. I am beside myself as this has gone on for a long period of time and I can see no light at the end of the tunnel. Last week the Dr put a cast on my foot for another 4 weeks to see if the problem is just residual. Any suggestions? Thank you.
