Re: Foot Swells

: Last tuesday i was running and i sprained my ankle. I went to the ER for x-rays and they said it is just a sprain, and keep it elevated. I could not keep it eleveated for 3 days becasue of work. Than on the 3rd day my foot got what looked like a blood clot over my toes, and it burned real bad when i stood up. I went back to the doctor and they said it could be cellitius, and gave me anti-bidoics. Does this sound right? Can it be anything else. It looks like a blister filled with blood over my toes, and when i stand, i can feel it burning and my foot begins to swell. but it goes away once i elevate it. thanks.
