Pain in back of heel

About a week ago, I went back to normal shoewear after wearing a walking boot on my left foot for almost two months due to broken metatarsals.
Shortly thereafter, I developed a pain in the back of my left heel.
This pain only occurs when I am walking. However, it doesn't occur when my heel hits the ground, but rather when my left foot begins its upward motion and the weight shifts to the ball of the foot. Could this just be my heel getting used to having normal pressure put on it again, or do I need to go back to my podiatrist? Thanks for any advice.

Tuli's Double-Ribbed Pro heel cups are the most advancesd shock absorbing heel cups available today. The primary force of the heel strike is absorbed by the larger and higher waffle pattern while the lower and denser waffle pattern absorbs the high pressure and final force spike of heel strike. Perfect for sports activities.
