post Plantar fasciitis surgery

I had surgery on my left foot in Jan 2000. I have what seems to be a lot of scar tissue in that area now and it hurts really bad. I am on my feet walking a lot since I am a retail mananger for a large retail store. It is quite painful. I am not sure what to do. I had a couple of steroid shots in that tissue after the surgery but it was no help. I am at loss as to what to do. I am also diabetic and have neuropathy of my feet. Is there anything I can do to help this? Exercise etc? I have the plantar fasciitis also in right foot but refuse to ever have that surgery again, since the surgery one hurts worse now than before the surgery. I woud appreciate any input. Thank's for this message board.
