My husband has been experiencing foot pain for a month. He was first diagnosed with gout, but has been on gout medication for 2 weeks now with no relief. He also had a cortisone shot in his foot and has been taking prednisone. In addition to 3 different types of pain pills and muscle relaxers, he has had absolutely no pain relief. He did have an x-ray done and was first diagnosed with capsulitis but then the doctor decided it was gout. If it is gout, shouldn't he be feeling some relief? Now there is a knot on the top of his foot and he has pain going up his leg. What else could this be? What can he do for pain relief?

The Shin Splint Compression Wrap applies gentle pressure on soft tissue next to the tibia (shin bone), helping prevent additional tearing of the soft tissue away from the tibia. Compression not only reduces additional damage, it alleviates pain and enhances the healing process.
