Heel Pain

I am a GE Nurse who is on my feet all day on 10-hour shifts. I am otherwise physically active and have been exercising and stretching for 18 months. All of a sudden, I am experiencing pain just forward of both heels. And, as opposed to the symptoms of plantar fascitis, it gets WORSE as the day goes on, being particularly painful after work.

I am stretching before I get out of bed in the morning, wearing gel inserts, changing my shoes frequently, taking Motrin -- but I am still experiencing pain.

What else can I do? Is this plantar fascitis or something else?
