Thanks for your help...just one more question:

I'm in a slipper cast, and I am experiencing on-and-off tingling across all my toes and also sometimes in my foot. It is not limited to when my foot is elevated (or conversely, when it is on the ground) but I usually try and shake it off.

My toes are not swollen and their color seems okay...is this just because of the cast, or is it possible that I injured some nerves, as well (My injury was a one-inch cut across the top of my big toe, but quite deep).
