Re: Deep Bone bruise

My 18 year old son has a deep bone bruise in his left knee. He plays college baseball and recently had a MRI to confirm the bruise and to determine there were no tears in tendons. He did not take a hit to the knee, but it was the twisting motion while batting that caused the pain. Is the bone bruise a sign that an ACL tear is in his future?
