If a achilles tendon is torn and goes misdiagnosed for a year ( Orthopedist did X-ray and said nothing was wrong with my foot and diagnosed it as a pinched nervc in my back) Why would a large spur develop at the achilles insertion point .???? Did this small tear in the beginning contnue to rip further and cause this ..Could this have been prevented if the foot had been immobilized at the first sign of pain ...???
