Your post sounds somewhat familiar. I seem to recall thinking this might be a tarsal tunnel syndrome, or low back problem. There are probably other things a neurologist might think of as well.

Since it does not seem to be coming from the foot, but rather manifesting in the feet, I suggest it is coming from above. Your back, or a systemic condition, autoimmune disease.

Have you seen a neurologist or rheumatologist?
