everybodys hit a brick wall, any suggestions?

Dear Madam,
I have very sore feet, they are ok in the mornings, just the balls of my feet are numb. but the more i walk on them they start to burn on the balls and the rest of my feet are very sensitive to touch, and i get a tingling in the right big toe, but goes when i rest .
I can only wear thongs around nothings else they all hurt to much to wear.
Going by normal xrays my feet are structually sound only a bit of arthritis in big toes,no sign of neuromas by ultrasound,no diabetes, b12& folic acid levels good, sensory motors all working well therefore they say no sign of neuropathy, nor is there any tarsal tunnel problems.
You do sound a very knowledgeable Podiatrist, have you ever come across this sort of problem before? any suggestestions would be appreciated please.
