Re: swollen ankle&pain in heel

Thanks, Ms. Abrams, for the reply. Helps to confirm my decision to go ahead and have it checked out. After getting a couple more opinions confirming the fact that the left leg is slightly lighter in color than the right I'm sure I need to have it diagnosed. I have heard of some sort of surgery where veins are "stripped" in the leg...does that relate to my problem or is that something to do with heart related problems? Forgive my ignorance - fortunately, I've been healthy most of my life and a lot med terms & situations are unfamiliar to me.

A layer of gel combined with a foot cover to help protect metatarsals and toes from friction and pressure. It also ideal for cushioning the ball of foot and provides warmth for people suffering from arthritis or poor circulation to the toes.
