That is a question I can not answer with any degree of certainty. There are several reasons. Podiatrists, physical therapists, chiropractors, orthopedists all make orthotics. There are custom made as well as pre-fabs.

You might want to contact one of the larger podiatric labs such as Langer's or PAL (Podiatry Arts Lab) They might be able to give you numbers of custom orthotics they make. But there are numerous companies that make pre-fabs from all over the world.

Having said all that, I can not imagine that a chiropractor would have any more knowledge than I would about the % made.

I also would point out that your Zcoil shoes while decently made, at least in some that I have seen would do well with a rigid custom orthotic.
