Re: knee pain as a result of orthotics

I would watch her walk and see if she has any gait abnormalities. She may have abnormal mechanics. I would want to know how she was casted for orthotics and what shoes she wears them in. Also does she have this pain without any orthtoics?
I would also consider a consult with one of the larger podiatric biomechanics labs, such as PAL, Langers, Northwest, or Burns to name but a few. Most all of them have a spesensoredt who can discuss this in greater depth.

Good luck

The HealWell Night splint is designed to comfortably position the foot in a controlled amount of dorsiflexion to provide a gentle stretch to the plantar fascia and Achilles Tendon. This gentle stretch helps reduce the muscle contracture, inflammation and associated pain. It has also been clinically proven to reduce symptoms of plantar fasciitis.
