On the outside of both ankles, near the large ankle bones, I have these soft mushy swollen lumps that hurt very bad, esp. when I am on my feet alot. Nothing takes them away, not soaking, massage, being off my feet. And they are also in the bends of the back of both knees. They are not Bakers cysts (I have already had an MRI done on the "lumpy thing" in the back of my right knee). A sports physical therapists suggested that it may be tendonities of the poplitius muscle, though I cannot seem to get a doctor to diagnos this. What do you think????
