in 1999 i had a bad distal tibia fracture had arthoscopic debridement about 8 months ago they took out a flap in the front that was causing impingement.now from what i read debridement only has a 40% success rate.3yrs later most pateints had arthritis stage 3-4 why do they do it ? im only 39.now i feel arthrtis kicking in. never felt it like this before why didnt the surgen wait till it got so bad i couldnt take the pain then do it.and maybe its better to leave it in there at least theres something between bone.i guess the point im makeing dont depend on a doctor to help they dont care in the long run your the one who has to deal with it not them.if anybody has had debridement with long term sucess let me know im really worried about my condition
