2nd rupture of achilles and walking

Last July,I ruptured my achilles tendon playing softball, had surgery and casted for 6 weeks, 6 days after cast came off I re- ruptured,no surgery, just casted again for 4 weeks and then I got the boot cast after that for 2 months.I have been to physio etc and my ROM is great but my walking seems to be getting worse. I find that I am curling my second toe etc in order to walk and I limp more now. Will I walk again normally? Do toes really have such an importance when you walk? Help..I want to walk a straight again! Thanx
