juvenile bunion surgery

I wrote you quite a few months ago regarding my daughter 14, figure skater having juvenile bunions. She is now is in her 6th week of recovery from a kalish bilateral bunionectomy procedure. She is actually doing quite well-very little pain/swelling following the procedure and is back in wide tennis shoes and was released for exercise but no jumping. She still has swelling around the main joint which is considered normal. She does a lot of biking and is looking forward to getting back into her skates.I think the age, screw fixation and finding a good podiatrist helped with her speedy recovery. Just wanted to post this because so many times people just hear of the horror stories. Have a good day.

Lined with soft fabric on both sides, this ~2mm thick SiliposŪ proprietary gel pad is an excellent cushion to help relieve the burning sensation and discomfort of the five metatarsal heads of the foot (the ball-of-foot) by protecting the ball of foot from repeated friction and abrasion with the shoes.
