I injured L archilles playing squash 6 mths ago, (hadn't played >20 yrs) and still have discomfort from it. Only exercise I get is cycling competitively (A grade) and training associated with that (400km/wk approx). Problem now is that the archilles area appears to be swollen when viewed from standing position, and I'm not sure if should be icing it, massaging it or ignoring it.
