Re: nerve pain/cyst in top of foot

I am not sure but you might have a ganglion (a type of cyst) that is common on the top of the foot as well as other parts of the body. You can do a Google search for ganglion and get alot more information.

It may be pressing on the nerves causing the pain. As far as the treatment goes, you need to discuss your concerns with the doctor.

Lined with soft fabric on both sides, this ~2mm thick SiliposŪ proprietary gel pad is an excellent cushion to help relieve the burning sensation and discomfort of the five metatarsal heads of the foot (the ball-of-foot) by protecting the ball of foot from repeated friction and abrasion with the shoes.
