Was hoping you'd be able to clear something up for me. I'm a very keen sportsman, but when i play i regularly take hits to the lateral side of my feet (by 5th met) and they hurt- a lot. Our old team physio said these impacts wouldn't do any harm and would actually strengthen bone (seems strange but hey!). New guy came along and said he was worried bout the swelling and all those strikes prob weakened it and i should watch it.

In your opinion, which seems more likely? I'm completely confused that 2 physios could give such different advice. Thanks for your time. Mark.
