Bruised toes and ankle...major pain since

I had my DPM do an ankle block on friday, he also did a steroid injection into the joint of the big toe (dont know what its called). He put a unna boot on my foot and told me to remove it the following afternoon. My foot swelled big time with this and everywhere the meds. went in my foot are now badly brusied to the point I can't put any pressure on my right foot at all much less touch it. I've iced it and it helps...but as soon as the ice is off I'm back to square one again. Is there anything that can be done to help? Any recommendations will be gladly accepted. Thanx for your time and help in advance.
