numbness on side of foot

About 2 weeks ago, I found that the right side of my right foot is numb. Not completely, but there is a small bump there and when I touch the bump it does not hurt, but above the bump (about 2 inches from the toes) there is a numb/tingly area about 2 inches long. I have no pain. I am in the Army and I run frequently. I have tried to research this and I have nothing about numness on the side of the foot. It is directly on the side, exactly in between the toes and the heel. I have no clue what this could be. Please help.

The Shin Splint Compression Wrap applies gentle pressure on soft tissue next to the tibia (shin bone), helping prevent additional tearing of the soft tissue away from the tibia. Compression not only reduces additional damage, it alleviates pain and enhances the healing process.
